  Wireless Security Symposium

  Where: Shilla Hotel, Seoul, South Korea

  What: This event will take place on August 30-31, 2010 in Seoul, South Korea. With the evolution in smart phones, advanced mobile devices and cloud computing, the cyber threat is quickly moving to the wireless world, threatening to compromise personal and corporate data and connectivity. The forum will address a broad array of wireless security topics, from devices to networks, to user and carrier data, to viruses and malware. A 360 degree view of wireless security issues will be addressed from both an industry and technical perspective.

  4G Networks: LTE & WiMAX

  When: April 15-16, 2010

  Where: The W Hotel, Hong Kong

  What: This two-day event at the W Hotel in Hong Kong addressed a range of business and technology factors surrounding the continuing deployments of this next generation of mobile communications. It considered the critical issues surrounding overall deployment strategies, initial rollout and coverage, core network evolution and radio network evolution, and backhaul requirements. The coexistence of LTE and WiMAX was also explored.

  Mobile Device Evolution

  When: November 3-4, 2009

  Where: Sentosa Island, Singapore

  What: Our inaugural event, held November 3-4, 2009, covered new mobile platforms and software and the emergence of the "low cost" smartphone. Presenters included our own senior analysts and leaders from across the spectrum of the mobile industry, discussing a number of topics which all boil down to one question: What's next for mobile devices?
