Kim Hongsun

Hongsun Kim is CEO of AhnLab, a leading provider of integrated security solutions since August, 2008. With his over 20 years of experience in IT networking and security expertise, he is responsible for building AhnLab’s presence, driving business and providing direction to the company. He served as Founder & CEO of SecureSoft for 9 years. He joined AhnLab in 2007 after AhnLab acquired network security business from SecureSoft. After he joined AhnLab in 2008, he was in charge of the whole R&D, Internet business as CTO & Vice President.
John Devlin

As principal analyst within ABI Research’s Smart Cards and Embedded Security Research Service, John Devlin focuses his research and management efforts on markets and technologies for smart cards and chip cards, authentication, identification, payments, and data protection. 2001 until he joined ABI Research in 2010, he held positions of increasing seniority at IMS Research in the UK, eventually becoming Research Director, Financial & I.D. Technologies Group, a new business area which he developed for the firm.
Prior to his work at IMS, he served as Business Development and Technical Sales Engineer at PPC Cranfield Ltd, addressing western European markets for the company’s high precision, engineered composite machine bases and components.
Stuart Carlaw

As Chief Research Officer, Stuart Carlaw leads ABI Research’s analyst teams covering global connectivity markets. Stuart’s primary responsibility is the management of industry research content, and he also regularly interfaces with clients and the media.
Prior to joining ABI Research, Stuart was a Telecommunications Technician in the British Army, and then Senior Analyst and later Wireless Research Director at IMS Research. At IMS he was the primary Bluetooth analyst, and responsible for all short range wireless research.
Stuart earned a B.Sc (Honours) in Physical Sciences and Business Management from De Montfort University.
Adli Wahid

Adli is the Head of Malaysia CERT (MyCERT), a department at Cybersecurity Malaysia. He has been with the Malaysia Computer Emergency Response Team (MyCERT) since September 2006. He is in charge of CyberSecurity Malaysia’s Cyber999 Incident Response service and the Malware Research Centre. Adli is involved various global computer security initiatives such as the Forum of Incident Response Teams (FIRST), the Asia Pacific CERT (APCERT), the Anti-Phishing Working Group and the Honeynet Project. He has spoken and conducted training on various topics at conferences and seminars worldwide. In 2009, Adli was an honoree of the Asia Pacific ISC2 Leadership Achievements (ISLA) in the IT Security Practitioner category
Charles Landry

Charles Landry joined Syniverse in October 2009 to lead that company's global messaging line of business. He brought to the company more than 20 years experience in the services and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. Landry held a number of leadership positions at VeriSign, including vice president and general manager of products and innovation for VeriSign’s Messaging and Mobile Media Division. Before that he was a consultant with R4, Gemini Consulting and Cambridge Technology Partners, where he managed that organization’s multi-national consulting business. Mr. Landry received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of San Francisco.
Christophe Colas

Christophe Colas is Product Marketing Director in the Professional & Consumer Devices Business Unit in Trusted Logic, focusing on wireless and embedded security products supporting in particular TrustZone technology. He has been with Trusted Logic for five years.
He is also Chairman of the Device Committee of GlobalPlatform. He was previously R&D Software Manager and Chief Software Architect within the Ingenico Group, a leader in the EFT/POS terminals market, where he led the development of Terminal Management Systems and embedded software for terminals. Earlier, Christophe was with Bull CP8 in the USA and in France, building several software security architectures around smart cards. He is graduate of the "Ecole des Mines" and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration.
Conrad Labonte

Conrad Labonte is currently Director of APAC Business Development at Andrew Telecom. He advises telecom carriers on technology and business issues, validated using business case modelling. He has over 20 years of Asian telecom expertise in wireless solutions (WiMAX, UMTS, CDMA, GSM) and telecom applications including IMS, NGN, VoIP, Real time Charging, and middleware. He has experience in product development for bringing solutions to carriers in Europe, Australia, Asia, the Pacific, and Canada.
He has been with Andrew for a year; previously he served as Director of APAC Business Development for Redknee; MD of CELAsia; and Nortel’s Director for Wireless Business for ASEAN/Pakistan. He has also held various senior positions in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Australia, and Canada at Nortel.
Eric Choi

Eric Choi joined the Bluetooth SIG in 2008 and performs a key role in the development of Bluetooth technology in Korean markets, which represent the fastest growth for Bluetooth wireless technology. Eric is the primary Bluetooth SIG contact point for Korean members and serves as a technical marketing connection between regional members and global Bluetooth SIG membership-based committees and working groups. He also works closely with the Korean government and organizations to foster development of future Bluetooth application and products.
Prior to joining the Bluetooth SIG, Eric worked for Samsung Electronics and Cisco Systems as design engineers for GSM, CDMA and W-LAN.
Henry Ptasinski

Henry Ptasinski is a Principal Scientist in the Wireless Connectivity Group at Broadcom Corporation, focusing on the security, efficiency, and manageability of Wi-Fi networks. In that role, he has been a significant contributor to the development of 802.11 security amendments (802.11i, 802.11r, 802.11w) and numerous Wi-Fi Alliance certification programs, including WPA and WPA2. In addition, he is responsible for implementing related security features in Broadcom's Wi-Fi products. He has over 20 years of experience in computer networking and data communications, and received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
Hervé Pierre

Hervé Pierre has been the General Secretary of SIMalliance since October, 2006. In this position, he supervises day-to-day management of the organization. He reports to the Board and is strongly committed to enhancing and promoting the role of the SIM with telecom operators, application developers and handset manufacturers. He is also Director of SIMposium, the official event of the SIMalliance, which brings together professionals from across the mobile services value chain. From November 2003 to October 2006, Hervé was part-time SIMalliance General Secretary as well as Director, Strategic Program with GEMPLUS Telecom Business Unit. Hervé joined Gemplus in May 2000 as Marketing 3G Manager. Hervé was previously with Alcatel starting in 1993. After holding several positions in the sales organization and earning a Masters degree in Marketing, he became head of the Datacom Marketing group for France in the Business Systems Group (IP products for Enterprise). Before that, Hervé worked for Olivetti in the large account sales organization.
Lin Yu
Dr. Lin Yu is the CEO and co-founder of NetQin Tech Co., Ltd. (named NetQin hereafter), and assumes the leadership role of the company. NetQin has grown to be the leading mobile security service provider in the world with over 45,000,000 users in over 200 countries.
Lin Yu led his team to develop and launch the first mobile security product in China in 2005 and they continue to deliver mobile security total solutions, including mobile anti-virus, anti-spam message/call, and privacy protection based on the innovative Cloud-Client Computing platform.
Marcus Wong

Marcus Wong is in the Wireless Advanced Research & Standards organization of the Huawei North America R&D center. He joined Huawei in 2007 and has been focusing on various aspects of research and standardization in 3GPP and WiMAX Forum security areas. Marcus is also active in the Wireless World Research Forum, contributing to various projects within WWRF.
Before joining Huawei, Marcus had spent 15 years in the telecommunication industry with both Bell Laboratories and Samsung’s Advanced Institute of Technology, covering many aspects of security in wireless systems, including 2G/3G cellular networks, Personal Area Networks, and satellite communication systems.
since November of 2009 he has held the elected position of vice-chairman of 3GPP SA3 (Security Group) and bas been the vice-chairman of WWRF WG7 (Security & Trust Working group) since 2007.
Mark Daigle

A relative newcomer to the field of IT security, Mark Daigle offers a new perspective on mobile security solutions. He is co-founder of one of the most exciting new companies emerging from the economic downturn. Mr. Daigle resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the USA.
Ronald van Kleunen

Ronald van Kleunen is the Principal Solutions Consultant and Business Development Manager for the wireless service & security business overseeing the Motorola AirDefense portfolio in Asia Pacific. He has been in this position for the past 1.5 years. He has 14 years of experience in designing, consulting IT/Service & Network plus DataCentre Infrastructures, IT/Network Services and IT/Network Operations, including Wireless Security, Management and Process Layers, ranging from Enterprise level environments to home environments, addressing scalability, security and IT Service Management. He has in-depth knowledge in various security related issues and they include topics such as Cyber Security, Information Security Management Standards (ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS standard), IT Information Management Standards (ISO/IEC 20000 ITSMS standard), DataCentre Security risks, Service Oriented Enterprise certification and Service Oriented Security “SOS”. Before joining Motorola, Mr. van Kleunen worked at various multinational corporations, including Globeron (founder), IBM Global Services, Sun Microsystems, AT&T Global Network Services and Ericsson Telecommunications.
SungKyong Un

SungKyong Un works as a principal member of the engineering staff of the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), based in Daejeon, Korea. He graduated from the computer science department master course of POSTECH, Korea, and has been working for ETRI since 1993. During past seventeen years, he has been involved in many research projects related to satellite communication, pay-TV, network security, OS security, and digital forensics.
Victor Philip

Philip Victor oversees two divisions within the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT). As Director, Training & Skills Development, Mr. Victor manages the design, development and deployment of courses and training curriculum targeted at cybersecurity professionals globally, at IMPACT’s Centre for Training & Skills Development. In his role as Head, Outreach, he also oversees the development of IMPACT’s relationships between partners in the industry, international organisations, academia and governments of partner countries.
In previous capacities, Mr. Victor led training and outreach for a national cybersecurity agency. There, he headed national cybersecurity programmes focused on increasing awareness for Internet users in the country, including enterprises, parents, children and ministries.
He also spearheaded national capacity-building programmes at, and successfully reduced the ratio of cybersecurity professionals to, Internet users in the country. Through these initiatives, he also increased the number of cybersecurity professionals in Critical National Information Infrastructure Protection-related organisations.
Mr. Victor has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a certified Sensecurity Institute Security Practitioner. He brings with him a total of 18 years in the IT industry and 10 years in cybersecurity. He has presented in conferences, forums and seminars globally and has published articles for publications both locally and internationally.
Zou Shihong

Zou Shihong received his Ph.D. degree in communication and information systems from Beijng University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2004. He is co-founder of NetQin, and is currently Vice President of NetQin, in charge of R&D.
Zou Shihong participated in the development and launch of the first mobile security product in China in 2005 and delivered mobile security total solutions, including mobile anti-virus, anti-spam message/call, and privacy protection based on the innovative Cloud-Client Computing platform. His research interests include mobile/wireless networks and mobile security.
