Jake brings highly developed analytical skills to the company, combined with years of expertise in the technology market research business, and a proven track record of operations management. Anuj Singh

Director of the Global Response Center, IMPACT

As the director of the Global Response Centre (GRC), Singh is responsible for the design, development, and operational activities. He is also responsible for working with various global industry partners for offering comprehensive threat and remediation information to partner countries.

Singh started his career as a quality assurance professional and then moved on to software development for a large solution provider. He managed several large software and IT infrastructure projects before moving on to become the product manager responsible for the core product development and services delivery for a managed security services provider.

Singh has worked in the IT industry for about 18 years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and postgraduate qualifications in systems management.

Ari Knuuti

VP Business Development, Codenomicon

Ari Knuuti is a co-founder and the vice president of business development at Codenomicon.

Mr. Knuuti has taken an active role in enhancing Codenomicon’s key customer segment offering and in supporting Codenomicon’s innovative solution development by working closely with the company’s strategic customers.

Mr. Knuuti is a member of Codenomicon’s board of directors. He is responsible for sustaining and improving the long-term value of Codenomicon for its key customer segments.

Chaichana Mitrpant

Electronic Transactions Development Agency

Chaichana Mitrpant currently is an Assistant Executive Director of Electronic Transactions Development Agency (Public Organization) or ETDA.  He heads the ThaiCERT and digital forensics operations and supervises a policy research and development team responsible for promoting electronic transactions in Thailand. As a member of several sub-committees of Thailand's Electronic Transactions Commissions, he contributes to making laws and regulations fostering the secure environment for electronic transactions.  He has over fifteen years of experience in digital communications and information security.  He received B.S., M.S. and Dr.Ing. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Rice University, the University of Michigan and Universitaet Duisburg-Essen, respectively.

Chaiyakorn Apiwathanokul

Chief Executive Officer, S-Generation Company Limited

Mr. Chaiyakorn Apiwathanokul is the chief executive officer of S-GENERATION Company Limited. He previously worked as chief security officer (CSO) for a leading company in the petroleum and petrochemical industry in Thailand, as well as an IT engineer and IT security adviser for PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited. Before joining PTT Group in 2004, he worked as an IT security practitioner for IBM Global Services and delivered a broad range of IT security consulting services including security assessment, policy development review, security architecture review, and security product implementation. There, he started to tap into the world-leading IT security consulting methodology and ethical hacking arena, working on security vulnerability assessment, architecture review, and policy development for banks and IDCs (Internet data centers).

Before he started his journey in the IT security world, Apiwathanokul worked extensively in the field of industrial control and automation systems, involved with various types of control systems including SCADA/DCS. The work included design, implementation, commissioning, and maintenance of a variety of applications included water distribution systems, meteorological systems, telemetry, natural gas production systems, etc.

Apiwathanokul holds a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Assumption University. He also holds a number of professional certificates, including CISSP, CSSLP, SANS GCFA, and IRCA:ISMS Lead Auditor.

Chaiyanath Chamoramon

Director of Information Security Training Business Unit, ACIS Professional Center, Limited

Chaiyanath Chamoraman presently teaches information security courses at ACIS Professional Center, including a course entitled “Cloud Computing and Virtualization Security.” Mr. Chamoraman has worked on many cloud computing projects. He was involved in architecting and designing both private and public clouds while working for Citrix Systems. His areas of expertise include BCP/DRP implementation and IT governance. Mr. Chamoraman holds several world-class information security certifications, including CISSP and CISA.

Chris Horsley

Founder, CSIRT Foundry

Chris Horsley runs his own training and software development company focused on CSIRT development, CSIRT Foundry. He started his professional life 13 years ago as a web developer and system administrator. Becoming deeply interested in the security of the web sites he was building, he moved into information security seven years ago, first working at AusCERT, the Australian national CSIRT, as a security analyst. He then spent four years living in Japan, working for JPCERT/CC. He is currently based in Australia.

Dhruv Soi

Director, Torrid Networks Pvt. Ltd.
Dhruv Soi, with over decade of experience in cyber security domain, is founder at Torrid Networks and Chief Mentor at Hacker Distinct Objects and has led 1000s of cyber security assignments and executed many security research projects for government departments, large public sector undertakings and fortune 500 companies. Soi is also Chair at OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) India with his mission to spread information security awareness across the industry, government and academia. He has presented at various international forums and hacking conferences. His area of expertise includes application security, penetration testing, malware reversing, vulnerability research and exploitation. Soi has been instrumental in conducting various high profile and cross border cyber investigations with security and defense establishments. 

Dr. Frederick Wamala

Sr. Expert Advisor, Cybersecurity Strategies for ITU, Efrivo

Dr. Wamala is a senior expert adviser on cybersecurity strategies for the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He is the author of the ITU National Cybersecurity Strategy Guide. Additionally, Dr. Wamala is the author of the ITU National Child Online Protection Strategy Guide. He has led expert missions to help ITU Member States develop cybersecurity strategies and action plans. He brings unique technical, strategic, and managerial experience to his cybersecurity advisory work. He holds a practical doctorate focused on Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementation. Dr. Wamala speaks on cybersecurity at conferences worldwide and to media outlets such as the BBC.

Goh Su-Gim

Manager, Threat Insight, F-Secure

Mr. Goh Su Gim is the manager for the Threat Insight Team of the F-Secure Response Labs in Kuala Lumpur. He also serves as the security adviser for the Asia-Pacific region, conducting talks in conferences and being the main liaison between the public and the local office in Kuala Lumpur in regards to public awareness of the IT threat landscape. In the Response Labs, he is responsible for ensuring that the Threat Insight team focuses on a proactive response in approaching upcoming issues in the threat landscape. The team handles tasks that concern file reputation vulnerability and web reputation anti-phishing services, hunting for threats as well as cleaning files as a preventive measure in protecting users' security. The team also provides vulnerability response services and conducts research on exploits.

Hoang Dang Hai

Deputy Director General, Vietnam CERT

Dr. Hoang Dang Hai works as the deputy director of VNCERT at the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) of Vietnam. Before working for MIC, he worked in academia, in Vietnam’s Post and Telecommunications (VNPT) and at the Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT). Currently he has a part-time job as an associate professor at PTIT. His activities are on policy development, R&D, project management, training and consulting for the cybersecurity area.

Jane Lu

Blackberry Security Director, Research In Motion Limited

Jane Lu works as the BlackBerry security director at Research In Motion (RIM). In this role, she interfaces with security agencies, government bodies, and strategic government and enterprise customers. Her primary focus is to promote BlackBerry security and bridge gaps in understandings. Prior to joining RIM, Jane held various positions, including vice president at Bank of America, leading a security application group.

Ken Wang

Huawei Symantec Technologies Co Ltd

As a senior security researcher and director of the innovation technology department, Wang leads researching and developing trusted cloud computing platforms and mobile security solutions at Huawei Symantec Technologies Co. Ltd. He is interested in general low-level technologies such as virtualization and rootkits. Ken has been working in the security field for several years. He is a subject matter expert in CSA.
 
Prior to joining Huawei Symantec, Ken was a senior researcher and manager of the trusted computing lab at Lenovo Research, and then a technical director of the wireless department in Kingsoft. His main concerns are trust computing, cloud computing, and mobile security. Now, he is doing research in the field of cloud security solutions (including mobile computing security).
 
He has published multiple patents/papers in China and USA.

Lakshan Soya

Manager, Operations, Sri Lanka CERT

Lakshan is an information security professional and presently serves as the manager, operations of Sri Lanka CERT, where he was one of its first employees. His skills range from administrative security functions such as information security policy formulation and adoption and asset management to technical security, such as configuration reviews and technical vulnerability assessments. One his many significant assignments includes a SCADA security assignment in Brisbane, Australia for a large energy distributor in early 2010. Prior to joining Sri Lanka CERT, Lakshan gained extensive experience in the telecommunications field, having been engaged in system engineering, presales engineering, post sales engineering, and product management with ZTE Corporation and Huawei Technologies, as well as serving as the product manager for NGN products.

Manu Zacharia

Creator & Chief Architect, Matriux

Manu Zacharia is an information security evangelist with more than 17 years of professional experience. He was awarded the prestigious Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award consecutively for 2009, 2010, and 2011 in the enterprise security stream. Zacharia was honored with the prestigious Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements Award for 2010 from (ISC)² and was also the recipient of the Newsmakers Achievers Award in the IT sector for the best ethical hacker in 2011. He is also the creator and chief architect of Matriux - Asia's first security, penetration testing, and forensics analysis operating system based on Linux kernel. Zacharia is the founder of c0c0n - International InfoSec and Hacking Conference and Information Security Day initiatives. He holds the responsibility of president for the Information Security Research Association and is also an active member of the Data Security Council of India, Bangalore Chapter.

Zacharia has presented at numerous high-profile security and technology conferences including Microsoft TechEd 2010 and 2011, Qualys Security Conference 2011, Enterprise Information Security 2010 – Singapore, ClubHack, Bangalore Cyber Security Summit, Security Conference 2010 - Bangalore, DevCon, Microsoft Virtual TechDays, Nullcon 2011, and many others.

Ming Ye

Ming Ye is the product manager in one of China's leading domestic computer software and IT solution companies. He has not only comprehensive business relationships with local government, telecommunications, finance, and resource industries, but also specializes in international cooperation to cope with borderless network threats and coordinate computer emergency responses with multilateral organizations. 

Mohd Noor Amin

Chairman, Management Board, IMPACT

As chairman of the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT), Mohd Noor Amin leads the first United Nations-backed public-private partnership against cyber threats. Mr. Amin’s role includes strategically guiding IMPACT and its stakeholders - including other international organizations and its 137 member states – to enhance the global community’s capacity to prevent, defend against, and respond to cyber threats.

Mr. Amin is also chairman of Ascendsys, Southeast Asia’s leading managed security services organization. In addition, Mr. Amin is a founding member of the Malaysia-U.S. Friendship Council, which is headquartered in Washington D.C. Besides these roles, Mr. Amin was also appointed by the president of the Republic of Guatemala to serve as the nation’s honorary envoy to Malaysia. In previous capacities, Mr. Amin also served as personal legal counsel to two Malaysian prime ministers and served as general counsel to Malaysia’s ruling party.

Mr. Amin is an English-trained barrister and has been admitted to the English Bar at Gray’s Inn and to the Malaysian Bar. Mr. Amin holds a Master in Commercial and Corporate Law from King’s College, University of London (U.K.).

Mr. Badar Ali Al-Salehi

Director, Oman National Computer Emergency Response Team (OCERT)

Mr. Al-Salehi is the director of Oman National CERT.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in computer systems engineering from the University of Kent in the UK. He is also is a certified information security manager (CISM), certified ethical hacker (CEH), and certified Microsoft system engineer (MCSE), He joined ITA at the early establishment of this authority in 2006 and since then he has worked in different national information security and critical infrastructure-related projects. He is representing ITA/Oman National CERT as a member of different regional and international forums and committees. Prior to joining ITA, he served several different senior roles at the Sultan Qaboos University and Muscat Municipality.

Phaichayont Vimuktanandana

Specialist, Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA)

Starting at National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) as a system analyst for a shot period then move to work in OS and system field as a system engineer for around 10 years. And around 1 year before joining ETDA I was working at True Corporation as Senior System Analyst in IT network security department.

Phannarith Ou

Head, Cambodia CERT

With more than 10 years of experience in government agencies, Mr. Phannarith is one of the key people in Cambodia's ICT field, especially in information security. Under his leadership, National CERT of Cambodia was officially born in December 2007 with the support of the government. Last year he was appointed as the permanent member of the Cybercrime Law Formulation Working Group under Council of Ministers. Besides his main duties at CamCERT, he has been invited as a guest speaker for many public events to promote the level of security awareness of SMEs, universities, finance and banking, government agencies, local and international organizations, and many others.

Philip Victor

Director of Policy & International Cooperation, IMPACT

Philip Victor oversees two divisions within the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT).  As director, policy & international cooperation, Mr. Victor manages IMPACT’s partner countries and oversees the development of IMPACT’s relationships between partners in the industry, international organizations, academia, and governments.

In his current portfolio, he also oversees the Centre for Training & Skills Development. He designs, develops, and deploys courses and training curriculum targeted to global cybersecurity professionals and practitioners.

Prior to joining IMPACT, Mr. Victor led training and outreach for a national cybersecurity agency. In this capacity, he headed national cybersecurity programs focused on increasing awareness for Internet users in the country, including enterprises, parents, children, and ministries.  Mr. Victor also spearheaded national capacity-building programs and successfully reduced the ratio of cybersecurity professionals to Internet users in the country.  Through these initiatives, he also increased the number of cybersecurity professionals in critical national information infrastructure protection-related organizations.

He has over 19 years in the field of information technology and 10 years in cybersecurity-related industries. Mr. Victor has a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a certified Sensecurity Institute Security Practitioner. He also was awarded the Senior Information Security Practitioner for (ISC)2’s Information Security Leadership Achievement award 2010. He has presented in global conferences, forums, and seminars and has published articles for publications both locally and internationally.

Prinya Hom-Anek

Founder and President, ACIS Professional Center

Mr. Prinya Hom-anek has over twenty years of information technology (IT) and information security specialist training experience in network and data communication, Internet and network security, information security and privacy, fraud and forensic investigation, penetration testing, ISMS, and generic information security consulting in both public and private sectors. He is recognized as one of the Asia-Pacific’s leading information security professionals.

Mr. Hom-anek currently serve as a senior committee member on various boards including (ISC)2 Asian Advisory Board, ISACA Thailand committee, and Thailand Information Security Association (TISA) committee. He has published more than 130 information security articles in magazines and newspapers such as The Nation and Bangkok Post. He is frequently invited to appear on TV and radio programs in Thailand, providing his expert opinion on information security-related topics.

He founded and serves as the president for the most successful information security training, consulting, and managed security services provider in Thailand, the ACIS Professional Center or “ACIS.”

Mr. Hom-anek has provided consultation for many international organizations and serves as a visiting lecturer at a number of universities and colleges within Thailand, lecturing on information security and IT audits.

Sang-Hun Lee

Director, Network Security Team, Network Policy Bureau - Korea Communications Commission

Sang-Hun Lee currently works as the director of the Network Security Team for the Korea Communications Commission (KCC). Previously, Lee worked as the senior deputy director of the International Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC) in Korea; as project manager of ICT strategy and policy bureau and ITU-T in Geneva, Switzerland; director of the green ICT policy, KCC; and director of the Spokesperson Bureau.

Wilfred Lee

Wilfred Lee is the international product and marketing director for SANGFOR Technologies Co.
